Canadian flautist and piccoloist Rachel Roe-Wu is a current Master of Music Performance student at the University of Toronto where she studies with Camille Watts. She is an active performer in the Greater Toronto Area, having performed with the University of Toronto Symphony Orchestra, the Etobicoke Philharmonic Orchestra, the Guelph Symphony Orchestra and Orchestra Toronto. Rachel has been a member of Orchestra Toronto since 2024 where she holds the 1st Piccolo/3rd Flute position. Originally from Mississauga, Rachel is a former member of the Oakville Symphony Youth Orchestra (formerly Halton Mississauga Youth Orchestra from when she was a member). With her passion for music and music education, she hopes to inspire the next generation of musicians in a warm and encouraging environment.
