Belmont Village Bestival – Saturday, September 14 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Located along Belmont Avenue in Belmont Village, Kitchener

Visit the Bandology Music Lab which features fun games and activities for kids to explore and embark on a musical journey, including music trivia and the chance to win a prize. Plus, check out their Sound Garden that is an interactive sound experience meant to spark creativity and nurture the love for music! Culture Days

Trumpets and Drumsticks and Flutes, Oh My! Exploring the Instrument Petting Zoo

Saturday, September 21 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Queen Elizabeth Park Community and Cultural Centre, 2302 Bridge Road, Oakville

Our workshop introduces participants to the wonders of music through our new instrument petting zoo. The instrument petting zoo features child-friendly starter instruments and is designed to be accessible to a young audience. Led by trained music educators, the petting zoo will also feature a demonstration of a wide variety of percussion instruments. Participants will have the chance to try out an instrument of their choosing. For more information, check it out here.

Aquafitness & Music Instruments Workshop

Saturday, September 21 from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Queen Elizabeth Park Community and Cultural Centre, 2302 Bridge Road, Oakville

Dive into the blend of water exercise and music-making at our Aquafitness & Music Instruments Workshop! Experience the benefits of aquafitness as you engage in rhythmic water movements while playing waterproof musical instruments like shakers and plastic drums. This workshop is designed to enhance physical fitness, coordination and a sense of community through the universal language of music. Join us for a unique session that combines fun, fitness and creativity in a supportive and engaging environment.

Bronte Block Party

Saturday, September 21 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Along Bronte Rd in Bronte Village, Oakville

The Bronte BIA is closing down a stretch of Bronte Road from 11am to 5pm and this is the official invitation to join us! This event is free, family-friendly and SO MUCH FUN. There will be bouncy castles, live-performances, games, art, crafts, music, dancing and more. Bandology will be there showing off the percussion section. Come see a percussion demo and get a chance to try out an instrument yourself. For more information, check it out here.
