Larry Moser

Larry Moser holds a Bachelor of Music (BMus) and Bachelor of Education (BEd) from Western University as well as a Master of Music (MMus) from Michigan State University.

Larry is an active private teacher on saxophone and clarinet at the Laurier Academy of Music and Arts (LAMA), formerly known as the Beckett School at Laurier. Having taught high school music for 25 years, he possesses vast experience working with beginners and watching them develop. Alongside his work in Waterloo, he also teaches at the University of Guelph in the Fine Arts program.

Performing is also very important to Larry and his career. He is currently principal clarinet with the Guelph Symphony Orchestra, concertmaster of the Wellington Wind Symphony and a member of the Royal City Saxophone Quartet. Larry enjoys teaching recorder in the RSVP course at LAMA where he has the opportunity to demonstrate woodwind instruments to a younger audience as well as let young students get a taste of each one.
