Music education can have an important impact on academies, transferable skills, mental and physical health and more. And yet music and arts programs are often the first to be cut from budgets, limiting the chance to deliver the benefits of music education to children.Â
The more kids play and perform, the more they are able to absorb the myriad of benefits – transferable skills like self-confidence, focus, collaboration, leadership, time management, organization and more; more likely to have improved mental health, get good grades, be offered scholarships; and overall be more well-rounded people both now and in the future.
