Kirk Kiernander fell in love with music at a young age and went through high school joining every musical outlet possible. Quality music education and passionate music educators in high school shaped Kirk’s future as he received his honours bachelor of music, specializing in music education, from Wilfrid Laurier University and his bachelor of education from Nipissing University. Since 2009, Kirk has taught vocal and instrumental music to students from kindergarten to grade 8, focusing on concert band education for almost 10 years. As a husband, father and music educator Kirk is excited to attend Band Camp this summer.
