Antoine Buttigieg

Antoine Buttigieg has been teaching instrumental music since 2006 and is currently the Director of Bands and Drumline at Fr. Bressani CHS in the York Catholic District School Board.

A graduate of the University of Toronto Faculty of Music and the Christchurch College of Education in New Zealand, Antoine has developed and built strong music programs that are recognized at both the provincial (Ontario Band Association), national (MusicFest) and international (music festivals in the USA) level. Antoine is also an active member of both the Ontario Music Education and the Ontario Band Association.

Outside of school, Antoine has also privately instructed, piano, brass and percussion and theory in the Greater Toronto Area as well as being a husband, and a father to two amazing children and his Boston Terrier Milo. He enjoys coaching the Girls Varsity Softball team at Fr.Bressani as well as his two girls’ softball teams in Vaughan (Coach 5 pitch and u11 Rep Softball).
