Held at a local Oakville high school, Band Camp provides a fun opportunity to advance music skills in the middle of summer for students who are keen musicians and are involved in concert bands in their local high school or junior high. Not a rock band camp, Band Camp provides a concert band experience.

Led by professional musicians and award-winning music educators, campers participate in warm-ups and chorales, break-out into sectionals and small groups, and come together as a massed band to perform a mini-concert on the final day of camp.

There’s also time for fun team-building games and activities.

Held in the beautiful new music room at King’s Christian Collegiate in north Oakville, campers enjoy using top-notch music facilities, plus have fun with games and activities. Campers must bring their own instruments; percussion equipment is provided.

At the end of the week, campers have a final day pizza party while preparing for Music and Mocktails, a free mini-concert for parents and friends.

Cost is $395 for the week. Before and after care is available for an additional charge. Students should pack their own peanut-free lunch and snacks. Camp spaces are limited, so register today!

Don’t have your own instrument? Don’t worry – we have partnered with a music supply company who will arrange a rental instrument for the week, and  even have it waiting at band camp for you.

Think you are a bit too old to be a camper, but have lots of experience and expertise to offer? Apply to become a music mentor! Open to students in grades 11 and up who play more than one instrument. Click here to learn more.
