J.J. Piccolotto is a mother, a student, a small business owner, a performer and a musician. She loves sharing her passion for music with people young and old, tailoring lessons to meet their needs and goals.
She began her musical journey playing various instruments, including clarinet and bassoon, later discovering her love of vocal music. She is a life-long learner, striving to become a better musician by singing a cappella music in a competitive chorus (Circle of Harmony – Sweet Adelines) and quartet (Just Jump! – Harmony Inc. and Sweet Adelines) and by taking classical voice lessons and participating in a variety of musical workshops and courses.
Through the years J.J. has participated in a few youth vocal music programs, doing everything from developing the program and teaching the music, to chaperoning and teaching poké-tags.
She also directed a women’s chorus, coaches choruses and quartets, and has won multiple awards with her choruses and quartets.
