Heather Kilborn

Classically trained on flute and piano, Heather Kilborn holds a Bachelor of Music in Flute Performance from Wilfrid Laurier University and a Masters of Music in Flute Performance from Northwestern University.

Heather is an active freelance performer in the area and has been very fortunate to play with groups such as the Niagara Symphony, Thunder Bay Symphony, Theatre Aquarius, Glissandi Trio and Casino Niagara, as well as many others.  In September, Heather will be joining the Thunder Bay Symphony for their 2019/2020 season as second flute/piccolo.

Since 2016, she has held the position as Music Director at Delta United Church in Hamilton, a position which has both been extremely fulfilling and extraordinarily challenging!

Heather also enjoys a full studio of private flute and piano students, regularly teaches band and flute workshops, and has taught at the Niagara Symphony Summer Music Camp for the past 16 years.

Along with a great love of music, Heather enjoys running, yoga, painting, cooking, building and creating just about anything!
