About Giancarlo Binetti
Giancarlo Binetti is a professional French Horn player who holds a Bachelor’s degree in French Horn Performance and a Master’s degree in Musicology from York University, specializing in wind band conducting and examined the role of artistic leadership in community band development.
An accomplished educator and conductor, Giancarlo has developed his skills through work as a summer camp instructor, section leader, and apprentice conductor with youth orchestras and community ensembles. He leads the Chancellor’s Brass Quintet at York University and serves as the Music Director of the Clarington Concert Band and Pickering Community Concert Band. Giancarlo leads with precision and enthusiasm. He always aims to share his passion with everyone in the room and encourages a warm, exciting musical atmosphere.
