Cassandra Wolff began studying classical percussion privately with Mike Phelan in 2010 and continued her studies at a high school and post-secondary level. Cassandra currently holds a Bachelor of Music Performance and a Chamber Music Diploma from Wilfrid Laurier University, where she studied under Dave Campion and Brennan Connolly. She will be pursuing her Master’s degree in Music Performance at the University of Toronto in September 2022.
She has played important leadership roles in both the Laurier Wind Orchestra and Symphony Orchestra and she has performed with the Kitchener-Waterloo Youth Orchestra, The Richmond Hill Philharmonic and the Stratford Symphony Orchestra. Her true passion is playing in smaller ensembles. She worked in three chamber music duos during her Chamber Music Diploma and was an active member of the Laurier Percussion Ensemble. Cassandra hopes to encourage young musicians to find their passion for music, and she works to guide them on the path that best suits their interests and enjoyment.
