About Michael Kallinis
Michael Kallinis is a recent graduate of Wilfrid Laurier’s Faculty of Music where he studied the Tuba. He has served as assistant conductor to the Kitchener Waterloo Youth Orchestra and the Laurier Academy of Musical Arts, Next-Gen Youth Orchestra.
During his degree, Michael completed a directed study in Wind Band Conducting with Dr. Leah McGray and conducted the Laurier Wind Orchestra twice in concert. Alongside his directed study, Michael was an active participant and in the Memorial University Wind Band Conducting Symposium located in St. John’s Newfoundland.
Michael is extremely excited and grateful to be joining everyone as a guest conductor at camp this summer and cannot wait to make some beautiful music and memories!
