Welcome to March Break Music Camp 2026!

We’re excited to have you at March Break Music Camp! It’s going to be a great week, and we can’t wait to see you at the Laurier Academy of Music and Arts this week.

The first day at March Break Music Camp:

Camp takes place at the Laurier Academy of Music and Art at 190 Lester St, Waterloo, ON, between Seagram Drive and University Avenue.
Camp is located on the south side of the building, closer to Seagram, next to the parking lot. There will be Bandology signs outside the door you should enter. The entrance is accessible, and there will be Bandology staff located near the entryway to direct you.

Drop off and pick up:

Camp starts at 9 a.m. On the first day, you are welcome to arrive ten minutes early to sign in, ask any questions to camp staff and get settled for the week. For the rest of the week, the doors will be closed until 9 a.m.
Pick up is at 4 p.m. for all campers.

What to bring:

A nut-free lunch, with snacks and a reusable water bottle. There is no access to a fridge or microwave. Please be extra careful with what you pack so as to keep campers with allergies safe. The following foods are not permitted at camp due to allergies: nuts (including tree nuts), cinnamon, lentils and raw fish.
Indoor shoes for the week.
Appropriate outerwear each day, for any outdoor games (weather dependent), and for our trip to the Wilfrid Laurier University campus on Wednesday.
Do NOT bring any electronics or objects that have any significant importance.
If your child is potentially sensitive to loud sound or has any sensory issues, we suggest sending them with headphones to wear if it becomes overwhelming.

Our camp schedule:

Each camp day consists of various workshops and activities such as bucket drumming, boomwhackers, ukulele, games and visits from wonderful guests.
The day ends with a dance party! Parents are very welcome to join in!
On Wednesday, we will be walking to Wilfrid Laurier University for a classroom visit and tour. Please ensure your child has appropriate clothes to wear outside!
On Friday there will be a final concert in the afternoon at 3:30 p.m. where family and friends are welcome to attend and see what the campers have been working on all week.

Safety at camp:

Please do not attend camp if you are feeling unwell.
If a camper becomes ill during the day, they will be sent home.
There are sanitation areas on-site and any highly-touched equipment is sanitized every day.
