Welcome to Band Camp 2026!

Bandology is delighted to be back at King’s Christian Collegiate for Band Camp!

The first day at Band Camp:

Camp takes place at King’s Christian Collegiate 528 Burnhamthorpe Road W, just south of the 407 and west of Neyagawa Boulevard.
Once you enter the parking lot, we will be the first door on your right. It comes up pretty quick, so if you have made it down to the kiss-and-ride you have gone to far. There is another camp called Planet Kids at the same location, be sure to look for our Bandology banner, signs and staff. They will be located at that door.

Drop off and pick up:

Camp starts at 9 a.m. On the first day, you are welcome to arrive ten minutes early to sign in, ask any questions to camp staff and get settled for the week. The rest of the week, drop off is at 9 a.m.
Pick up is at 4 p.m. Please come sign your child out with us.

Our camp schedule:

Each camp day consists of various workshops and activities such as rehearsals, sectionals, bucket drumming, ukulele workshops, games outside and more.
The day ends with a dance party or active games! Parents are very welcome to join in!
On Thursday campers will be participating in water games. Make sure to bring clothes that day that can get wet, a towel and lots of sunscreen!
On Friday there will be a final concert in the afternoon at 3:15 p.m. where family and friends are welcome to attend and see what the campers have been working on all week.

What to bring:

A lunch, with snacks and a reusable water bottle. Make sure to pack enough for your child to eat throughout the day. Please be extra careful with what you pack so as to keep campers with allergies safe! The following foods are not permitted at camp due to allergies: nuts (including tree nuts, pecans, walnuts, hazelnuts). There is no access to a fridge or microwave at camp.
Clothes for water games and towel on Thursday.
Sunscreen and clothing to wear outside, such as a hat. If your kid is susceptible to bugs, we suggest that you send them with bug spray.
Do NOT bring any electronics or objects that have any significant importance.
If you are in the band, please bring your instrument with you for each day of camp, plus everything you need to play it.

Lost and found items will only be kept during the camp week (NOT afterwards), so please make sure that everything goes home with you on Friday.

Safety at camp:

Please do not attend camp if you are feeling unwell. If your camper is sick and not attending camp, please let us know in the morning via email or phone.
Wearing masks at camp is not required, however we recommend all campers and staff bring a mask with them in case of sudden onset of illness.
Wind instruments and similarly highly-touched equipment are sanitized between uses.
