• Bandology – More music for more kids

Our Partners

Bandology is happy to partner with several local organizations that are as passionate about music as we are!

Kaos Music

Kaos Music

Opened in 1989, Kaos Music started in the world of music as a music technology store with the mission of helping people better understand the (then) complex world of digital music. Kaos has taught music lessons right from their very first day.

Kaos Music believes that it’s their responsibility to help encourage and teach new people to play the instruments that they sold. Beyond the responsibility in terms of education, the Kaos team has always loved the feeling they get when they see someone discovering the joy of making music themselves.

High Rendition Jazz

High Rendition Jazz Band

High Rendition Jazz is an award-winning ensemble of high-school-aged jazz musicians from the Halton Region area in southwest Ontario.

Their vision is to be a recognized high-performance youth jazz band, making their communities a better place to live by playing great jazz. The band practices weekly, holds workshops and an annual retreat, and performs at many events during the year.

Oakville Symphony Youth Orchestra

Oakville Symphony Youth Orchestra (OSYO) welcomes young musicians to a progressive orchestral experience that ignites, encourages and enriches a love of music.

Formerly the Halton Mississauga Youth Orchestra, the OSYO strives to be recognized for its excellence in development and performances through growth in all tiers, while balancing capacity and quality.

The Music Exchange

The Music Exchange

The Music Exchange is a place for everyone to connect; as musicians, fans and as a community.

The organization aims to build community through music and they offer weekly virtual open mics, ongoing mental health supports, and workshops from music professionals.

Tree of Stars

Tree of Stars

Tree of Stars was founded in 2017 by Jessica Compton. The organization aims to promote mental health awareness and addictions recovery through music and art.

They offer weekly journaling workshops through Zoom as well as daily Instagram livestreams featuring performances and interviews with musicians.

soFX Canada

soFX Canada was founded by Robert Mayor and is a music organization that helps provide music opportunities for musicians similar to our Play A Gig program.

One of their main events is the Canadian Original Live Music Series, which gives young musicians who write original music a chance to perform. The goal of our partnership is to collaborate on events where musicians from both our organizations can perform.
