Bandology is partnering with the Ontario Music Educators Association (OMEA) this summer and we need your help!

Music education is a topic both parents and teachers are very passionate about, however many people are not aware that most music classrooms are understaffed, poorly equipped, without a music teacher or are the first to be cut. 

As you know, music education can set the stage for reading comprehension, math skills and overall testing abilities.

How You Can Help

• Join the movement for music education and make your voice heard on Thursday, August 18 at 12 noon by posting and tagging on social media
• Use our templates for Twitter and also for Facebook and Instagram, or any other channel you use
• Below is a Twitter template which you can copy and paste to share to your Twitter community – please use the ‘school board Twitter handle’ pdf to locate the school board closest to you and exchange it for “+ your school board” in the template
• Share this link with friends who want to join in!
